A Productive Break!

I keep forgetting I have a blog! Being a house-girlfriend (not a wife yet..boo) and a mommy has taken up all my craft time. but I've been a bit productive. :)

Finished Projects:

Headband, Diaper Cover and afghan for baby Cambria Clark:

Patterns:
Diaper Cover (click here)
Flower for headband (click here)
(Headband was 3 long ch rows braided together and flower sewed on)
*Simply Simple Afghan (click here)
(what I did with the afghan was 6 rows of 4 -24 small squares- and sewed them together like directions stated, and then did 14 large squares (2rnd red, 2 rnd black, 1 rnd pink) and sewed together like directions state... then attached by slip stitch to the small squares. Border for afghan can be found here. You will need to translate. It was difficult for me to figure out, but my mom helped me and explained it better. I think I was just overtired when I was trying to figure it out. :)

To Do:
  • Jayda's Granny Square Blanket
  • Casey's Hat
  • Spa Set
  • Jayda's Bow Holder (still a WIP)
  • Scrap Yarn Blanket
  • Car Seat Blanket for Baby Boy Oiler, as well as a hat for him and a matching one for his big brother.
  • Outfit and headband for baby Maisie Howell

That's about it in the ways of updates for now. I hope to keep this up!

- Andie

I'm back.. Again!

I'm back, yet again. I've had a long year. A really. Long. Year. I was at my mom's in Illinois, then I started working two jobs to take care of my awesome daughter, then I moved back to Tennessee with my boyfriend and daughter because we decided we wanted our family back together. We've been here since shortly after Christmas. My how I've missed Tennessee. I left Illinois before that Polar Vortex mess. And I don't miss the snow at all. It's snowed like... twice here since I've been back.

Onto more exciting things!

My project list hasn't changed. Jayda's quilt is on a stand still, as I have no sewing machine.

  • Jayda's Granny Square
For her big girl bed! <3
  • Casey's Camo Mohawk Hat
Because my honey is silly and asked for one for next fall/winter.
  • Scrap yarn blanket
For the living room, since I want to have something that I made showed off.
  • 3 Baby blankets
For 3 of my closest friends. One due in June, the other two in September. Eeeee babies! <3 I may also do bib, hat and bootie sets. Or in place of blankets.... Who knows.
  • Spa Set for Momma
Because I *need* one. Yes. NEED.
  • Crochet project holder
Because this box in my living room takes up too much space! I'm thinking a cute pink camo tote.
  • Jayda's Bow Holder
Jayda has a lot of hair now. Which means her momma, Nana, and Aunt Nikki have bought her bows up the wazoo. We need a pretty place for it. And I may make myself one. It's actually a WIP.
I am so excited for my crafts this year. I'm actually just going to focus on crocheting. I love scrapbooking and macrame, but crocheting seems like it's going to take over my life. Which isn't bad at all,in my opinion. It's just keeping it organized in my head, and fitting it in after being a SAHM again (boy do I miss working sometimes!)

But as of right now, my bed is awaiting me and my honey will be home soon. I'm in dire need of some snuggles. I had lots from Jayda, now it's Casey's turn.

Nightie-Night!! :)
